Wendy’s Story

Site created on March 11, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. As many of you know that the last 2 months has been very rough for me.  I got diagnosed with Addisons disease and Gastroparesis.  Both of these these diseases mess with my Autoimmune disorder Systemic Lupus. My stomach is paralyzed and so is most of my colon.  So it is making it very hard for me to get nutrition.  A J tube may be in my near future - this would bypass my stomach and make it easier for me to get nutrition through my jujenuem (spelling) small intestine. This should help with the malnutrition. Thank you for all of your prayers and hellp there is still a long way to go.

Today has been a lesson in sometimes people don't care how much you hurt. I guess that is life😢
