I was on faculty when Rachel was at Regent. After many years of no contact, we connected last January when she wrote to congratulate me and my wife on our anniversary. From then until her death we had exchanges that were very sweet. I mentioned my two cancers and from her reply learned she was in the cancer battle. One thing in particular -- I mentioned to her that at this time in my life I am more prone to speak of love (agape love as in Scripture), and so I signed a message, "with love." She responded in kind. Her tenderness deeply impressed me and I miss her. Prayers for all of you who knew her and miss her.
Thank you for sharing this Becky ❤️! I have been lifting your family up in prayer as I remember and celebrate Rachel. I was especially thinking of Rachie on a recent walk in a park with some incredible colorful trees & flowers. So much beauty and life she must be enjoying in her heavenly meadows ❤️ Love to you and yours.
I think about Rachel daily. Her spirit will stay with us all. Sending love to the entire family as you navigate the upcoming holiday season without her.
Thank you for sharing your heart-felt, very precious and fond remembrances. I am continuing to pray for your entire family. Here in Maryland, and the DC region, I also have so many situations where I am thinking of Rachel and so grateful for her friendship. What a living hope we have through our faith in the Messiah! Rachel is rejoicing with joy unspeakable. She will have a Christmas like no other one experienced on earth.
Could I please have Suzie Audi's address? Gary and I loved Rachel and enjoyed times we spent with her. I did aerobics with Suzie for a few years. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you all.
