David’s family and I are filled to overflowing with gratitude for all the Holy Spirit-breathed contributions of those leading and participating in his Memorial Service and Reception yesterday at First Presbyterian Church Portland.
This service was a beautiful tribute to David while also being uplifting and comforting to those who attended.

I would like to also thank Maddy Ross, the lead soprano, Chris Nilson, who patiently worked with me to create the slideshow, Linda Lewis, who beautifully orchestrated delicious reception refreshments, the behind-the-scenes FPC Deacons and our friend, Russell Smith (who did everything else!) We have tremendous  love and respect for Pastor Audrey, who happened to remind David of both his sister, Holly, and his mother, Pat.

Know that you all are always welcome to our church, in person or streaming. I’ve been known to participate in Open Circle Bible study en route to Nordic skiing and watch/listen to virtual Sunday services when walking my dog or on vacation.:)
