Hebrews 12:12-13 - Therefore strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Make level paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

This is the verse that called me into hospital chaplaincy. It is incredibly appropriate right now because of my knees!!! But I suggest it for you because I know you live for God, for your family and to take care of sick children. We’ve got more paths to level for kids, Wayne. I have missed your sweet smile and good hugs. I am very glad for the update, however. If it was a HIPPA violation, I’m guilty. I’ve asked each of the groups I participate in , to pray for you both. So, prayers are coming from east Texas, The Red Shoes, the Celtic Community of Aidan and Hilda, and First UMCBR. Y’all are on my mind every time I go to pray. I wish I could run errands for you or mow your yard. I’m having to ask for help myself. We would both rather give than receive. But receive it all: the love, the prayers, the communities lifting y’all up.

I know the mantra is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I am confident that your faith will carry you both through this, hopefully only a couple of little bumps in the road. Miss you!

Love, Peace and Ongoing Prayers,
Lisa

Genesis 50:20
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

Wayne and Lana. Your journey is such a testimony of Christ being your Lord and living in you and through you! Your selflessness with one another is more beautiful evidence of Jesus. I can’t imagine your day to day in any way but I am so thankful that your foundation is Truth and He is worthy of our trust, will never let you go and is your refuge. If someone reading your posts has never surrendered their life to Jesus, I pray they will reach out to y’all so they can know our Hope and Truth too!!
I’ll be praying for y’all !
