In the last few days I’ve realized the enormity of the healing gift we received of the Lord. We came to Houston with the surgeons expecting to find wide spread cancer in the abdomen. After surgery the surgeon told Willi it was “the best possible outcome.”
Then last Friday when the doctor brought the Pathology report, he said the tumors were confined to the appendix and spleen, which were cleanly removed. And those tumors were of the “very lowest possible grade.” And most of all, NO tumors had been spread by the mucin to other parts of the body.
Doesn’t this sound like a dramatic answer to the prayers of hundreds of friends who were praying that the cancer cells would be removed? Doesn’t this sound like our Jehovah Rapha (Healer) divinely reached in to removed whatever destructive cells might be there.
All due respect to the marvelous expertise of the amazing doctors at MD Anderson. They’re the best in innovative treatment of rare cancers.
So we’re home now. Very little pain, but also quite low energy. Just extremely thankful for friends and family who surrounded us; and for God’s presence and great mercy in healing. Last Sunday I wept through the entire praise service at River Point Church I’m Houston.
We prayed at the beginning that whatever the outcome God would be glorified. With this amazing outcome, He is greatly glorified and worthy of our praise. Wayne
