Journal entry by Dani Ross-Eschbach

Good afternoon everyone,
I just wanted to take a few minutes to firstly thank everybody who donated to Arya page , Family who rose above and beyond in helping our family and kiddos, those that took their time to send art supplies to the hospital, and sent and made food for our family .We were humbled by the amount of support and generosity that we received for Arya.
As far as Arya’s current health status she is having a really tough time. She never was cured  from the CDF infection (over 3 weeks ago) so now ( 2 months later) she is on another round of even stronger antibiotics four times a day to hopefully Eradicate the overproduction of bacteria. She also unfortunately has been continued to be stress dosed w her steroids ( which is a huge set back and extremely hard on her body plus we don’t know all the side effects for long term use 4 1/2 months) she continues to have a extremely high temps, Diarrhea, headaches, tummy pains, fatigue easily, light and sound sensitivity. She also continues getting her Lovenox shots twice a day which are no fun for either of us . Her arms are riddled with bruises From the lovenox and she is a champ taking numerous yucky meds through out the day. Along with this now she is no longer wanting to eat much if any foods. We now are going to see a cdiff specialist (hopefully soon/ waiting on a call back)Along with endocrinology, Hematology, neurology, neurosurgery,Neuro ophthalmology, and nutrition. I’m not sure if I have addressed everything but I just wanted to briefly update those of you who have been continuing to follow Arya’s story. Thank you 🙏 from the bottom of our hearts Please continue to hold arya In your prayers.
