You all have been on my heart and in my prayers since February started. Walter's legacy will benefit so many through the school. Thank. you for the opportunity to honor Walter in this way. I will light a candle by one of my grandson Theo's lego builds in honor of Walter's birthday today. xoxo

Megan, when you first shared the news of when Walter was born, I immediately added his birthday to my calendar with a yearly repeated occurrence. The reminder for his birthday popped up for me this morning and I immediately thought of you all.
Sending you and your family so much love and support. The grieving is not linear. His life is continually celebrated in each of your actions and I know he's watching out for each one of you. Although I never got to meet him in-person, I am so grateful for the brief glimpses that you shared. What a beautiful boy and person, inside and out.
You all are still in our prayers. My girls never got to meet Walter, but feel like they know him. We will build a Lego set as a family Sunday for his birthday. ❤️
Thinking of you all and of Walter this weekend. I stopped by and visited with his classmates yesterday and we talked about Walter's birthday this weekend. I shared with them that you'd be doing a lego set on Sunday and suggested they could play with legos this weekend too and think about Walter. Some of their other suggestions were to play with or read about dinosaurs and also to play soccer, as that was something Walter liked to play at recess with many of them.
