Journal entry by Leona Soltis —
Wally’s white count was up so he was able to have his 3rd chemo treatment on Wednesday.
He was very tired and had a couple of bouts of dry heaves for a couple of days after treatment. He continues to struggle with his eating but we keep trying different foods to entice him. He can look pretty pathetic but Mom, Karin, and I aren’t swayed.
Thankfully he has one radiation treatment left. We are thankful for all the prayers for Wally.
He felt well enough on Sunday that we took him for a drive taking country roads to Vic & Bonnie’s in Little Falls. It was nice to get out of the house to enjoy the sun, view the farms and see the countryside.
