Goodbye, Vonda. I hope those who weren't able to share with you what you or your work meant to them, will now share those thoughts with others.

I am so sorry to hear this. May she rest in peace and watch over all of us especially all the others she inspired.

It was a great honor to be able to care for Vonda and provide support for Jane and Kate during Vonda's last days. Vonda's kindness to me as a new Seattleite decades ago will not be forgotten; I am grateful to have been able to give back just a little bit.

So glad I got to sit with her on Saturday. She was still laughing at my bad jokes. Goodbye, my friend. We will meet again.

I was very lucky to know her, even a little. Many people are lucky to know her through her books and her courage and level-headedness to the last has ensured there will be one more.

Heartbreaking that this has happened; a relief that there was minimal pain. She will be greatly missed.
