how wonderful to have a 'posse' of great friends to be there helping - bless you all. and thank you for continuing the updates; it helps. hugs, love, and blessings to vonda and all of you <3
I read Dreamsnake and Fireflood (and other stories) in junior high (maybe high school) and loved them. I especially loved Dreamsnake, one of the first SF books that ever really both felt different and got me thinking, as opposed to analyzing the book's Message for my English teacher. Dreamsnake meant a lot to me. I am also, of course, familiar with Vonda's work in tie-in books - Star Wars and Star Trek, which I actually probably read first. Still, all the best, and I just wanted to leave a note that I enjoyed reading Vonda's books and they meant a lot to me.
Eileen's no doubt right, too, not that plans have been drawn to invade Stalingrad...
Still, that there's a "Vonda Comitatus" is reassuring. Say hello to her for me when the opportunity arises.
