Oh, Vonda. This is overwhelming. I can't think of anything to say except I'm glad to see so many people wanting to help you negotiate this. Leslie What (Glasser)
Just want Vonda to know I'm thinking of her and sending good vibes and appealing on her behalf to any deities that will listen. Hugs to the helpers, too.
I met Vonda briefly via a writing group, and I'm very sad to hear about this turn her health has taken. I will hope for the best for her, and I wish her and her loved ones peace and comfort in this most difficult time.
I haven't seen Vonda in many years, not since the 80s when I was at Clarion West. She was lovely then, probably still is. Had cancer and chemo myself, know how exhausting that is. Just give her my best and that I've always admired her as a person and a writer.
So very sorry to hear this news. Vonda, I was one of the gang in the SummerArts workshop at Humboldt State in 1988. You said kind things about my writing and suggested Clarion. I had never really thought I could do that, but you did. And it changed my life. Thank you.
I have no way to express just how important those words of support -- and your amazing writing -- have been. You will be in my thoughts, and I'll be hoping for things to go as well as they possibly can.

Vonda's books and her presence in science fiction fandom have been such a positive part of our lives. We have fond memories of seeing her at Potlatch and other conventions. Holding her in our hearts, Berni Phillips and David Bratman
My thoughts are with you. You are an amazing writer. I’m not sure how many times I read Dreamsnake - it always gave me the courage to persevere & to be true to myself.
Sending that courage back your way now.
Lois
Please let Vonda know that as a young woman, being able to see her books on the SF bookstore shelves meant so much to me. I bought all her books and read them over and over again. Because of her writing I felt less alone. Thank you.
