Vonda, I don't think we've ever actually met (though I'm pretty sure we've probably been at the same convention a few times) but you're part of the great commonwealth of books that shaped my adolescence and young adulthood. Thank you so much for Dreamsnake, and for all your other books I've found and read since.
I wish you the best, and good palliative care. Please let me know, Jane, if there is anything that can be done from another continent to help.
I just wanted to remind you to never give up hope. Miracles happen every day. If you search on Youtube 'The cancer that died of laughter' you'll find a ted talk by a person who had terminal cancer, and beat it via laughter. It truly is the best medicine. Praying for you. Bless. P.S. It'll be alright.
I was sorry to hear you're not feeling well at the moment. Just a quick note to say how much I enjoy your work, it's given me a lot of pleasure - thank you.
I hope the great pleasure your writing has given me becomes part of gentle peace for you in this challenge. Your books will be with me and many others for years to come. Thank you
Dear Vonda,
If you want to visit, I'm here. 360-692-2504. Although I am no longer physically close, I am a phone call or e-mail/message away. I hope that you get some of your energy back. If there is something that I can do, let me know. Love you, my friend. Marilyn
You've always been one of my literary heroes. Thank you for being so kind when we worked on formatting Alternative Truths. It was such a pleasure.
Sending you my love and prayers.
