Diane’s Story

Site created on September 10, 2019

Diane loves having visitors. Here are some guidelines to ensure her health and wellness:
>> Plan your visit for after 2pm -- Diane loves to sleep in. Tune into her energy -- if she is tired, limit your visit to 30 minutes and ask if you can help her get to bed.
>> No wine, please. But don't tell her. There is non-alcoholic wine in the fridge. Encourage her to drink water -- pour yourself and her a big glass when you visit. Better yet, bring an interesting, non-sugary drink to share.
>> Currently, Diane is not able to leave the premises. She gets physical therapy in her room, and if she is able to leave the premises, she will be forced to get physical therapy elsewhere. We will update you when this changes. I am with Diane on Tuesday and Friday, if you want to sign  up for a visit with her, please try to get it on the schedule by Monday evening and Thursday evening so I can put your date on Diane's calendar.

>> Let us all know when you will be visiting by going to the "Ways to Help" -> Planner section of this site and accepting a "visit" task. Or,  just note in the Well Wishes when you plan to visit. See the Journal section of this site for more information.
>> Please call Jacquie at 530 913-8505 if you have any questions or concerns about Diane that you think may need to be addressed...Thanks for your visits, they are very appreciated.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Jacquie Weils

Right now Custis is visiting on Monday and Thursday afternoons, and Jacquie is visiting on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. Diane needs visitors on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Or, you can have dinner with her at Eskaton any night of the week. Dinner is from 4:30-6:30, and visitors pay $11 (cash or check, no cards). Please add a "Well Wish" on this site with the day or evening you plan to visit so that we can coordinate.
