I'm back in Brush today.
Aunt Virginia looks amazing! She is participating in physical therapy and able to take a few steps.
There is talk that she will move to a skilled nursing facility, but that is still up in the air while they find a space and her insurance decides what they will cover.
She is comfortable in the hospital and receiving excellent care.
She will not go back on chemo. So I guess it is a waiting game, I don't know if it is officially hospice at this point, but the reality is that without treatment who knows what the cancer will do.
My hope is that she reamins comfortable and relatively pain free.
