Journal entry by Christine Thiel —
Hi All!! Vince & I realized we hadn’t posted an update here in awhile, so here goes… Vince continues to improve with each passing day. He remains on oxygen, but is able to function many days working from home, without using it. He has good days with oxygen levels hovering in the mid 90’s and some not-so-good says where oxygen levels are a bit lower. We met with the pulmonologist again a little over a week ago to discuss Vince’s recent CT scan. He still has a bit of scar tissue on his left lung, dr put him on another regimen of steroids & antibiotics for the next month until he has another CT scan & visit. We meet with the pulmonologist again on October 15th & continue to pray scar tissue is almost non-existent by that time. Vince’s biggest obstacle right now remains his energy level, he exhausts quite easily. Now that the weather is cooperating a bit, Jack & I have been trying to get Vince out for a short walk in the evening. It’s really amazing that when Vince is more active, his oxygen levels tend to rise.
We continue to be grateful for friends & family who walk alongside us in this journey and who truly inspire us to keep moving forward.
We ♥️ You All!
