Baldness had become a common problem among people nowadays. Earlier, men suffered more form baldness along with the advancement of age. However, it has become common among youngsters as well as women these days. With this, hair transplantation has become quite common and the most sought-after remedy to get rid of the hair loss. It should be noted that there are certain pre-requisites to qualify for hair transplant.

WHO IS SUITABLE FOR HAIR TRANSPLANTATION TREATMENT?

Almost everyone is suitable for getting a hair transplantation treatment done. But, the following people are definitely ideal and do not face any issue with the procedure:

  1. Hair color: the color of hair and scalp play a significant role in determining the probability of hair transplantation. With more similarity between hair color and scalp color, hair transplantation becomes successful.

  2. The Flexibility of scalp: it is quite easier for doctors to transplant hair follicles on those who have loose scalp instead of the ones who have a tight scalp.

WHO SHOULD NOT OPT FOR HAIR TRANSPLANTATION TREATMENT?

Although it is right that everyone can get a hair transplantation procedure done, still there are many who do not qualify for the same. In such cases, even if a person goes for the treatment, it will either not be successful or it gets extremely painful again yielding very less promising results. Let us examine all those who fail to comply with this procedure:

  1. Excessive hair loss: the people who suffer from extreme hair loss can not get this treatment done as the supply of follicles to cover the bald area is scarcely thin which results in unsuccessful treatment.

  2. The Density of hair: there are many persons who do face hair loss and hair fall still the density of hair on their scalp does not reduce. This makes it difficult to do hair transplantation as there is not much space to place the hair follicles on the scalp.

  3. Diffuse hair loss: diffuse hair loss refers to the phenomenon where there is loss of the hair followed by thinning of hair from the whole scalp. Still, there is no loss of follicles. In those cases, as there is no loss of follicles, new follicles can not be substituted to already existing hair follicles thereby making it inconvenient to carry out the hair transplantation.

  4. Alopecia Areata: this is the case where the person is exposed to hair loss from any part of the scalp at any point in time. There is no fixed area from where hair is lost. Even if hair transplantation is done on some affected area, that area still remains prone to Alopecia Areata. This makes the hair transplantation treatment ineffective and such people do not qualify for hair transplantation surgery.

Therefore, hair transplantation is a very effective treatment for regaining the lost hair and reviving the attractiveness of one’s appearance. However, it does not come for all and it is advisable to consult a hair expert that is a doctor who is qualified in this treatment instead of some beauty salons who may not have enough knowledge about the validity of treatment for the concerned person.
