What a beautiful memorial to Vicki and to the love you shared with each other. I just love that picture from last year at the beach. As sick as Vicki was her love just lit up her face--yours too! I believe that God's light has shown through yours and your children's lives. I am blessed to have been a recipient of Vicki's love and friendship. I miss her. I can only imagine how much you and the whole family miss her sweet spirit and tender care.

What a faithful servant of our Lord she was! So many ladies were blessed because of her and her desire to make God known! I’ll always be grateful to her for the 5 Aspects bible study she faithfully taught for years. Sweet Darla who passed into eternity on Saturday was in my class and I know they are having sweet conversations in Heaven.

A great reminder of the importance of legacy. Thank you for sharing, Carl. When we care for something so deeply and experience loss but have such wonderful memories, those memories only intensify our love and longing in the present. It is obvious you love Vicki with an everlasting love which only magnifies the pain as you continue to remember. I am so sorry. But I too rejoice in your hope and believe in the promises of many scriptures such as John 11:25. One day we will all be reunited and what a glorious day that will be!

After Mark died I wrote a poem called the broken vase. My life was shattered but with LOVE as the glue, God put the pieces of me back together. But it took many years.
I often think of you and your family.
