Mary Anne’s Story

Site created on February 6, 2020

Hello! Welcome to our CaringBridge website. Thank you so much for standing with us as we support Mary Anne and her family during this season of life.

Mary Anne was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2019 and has begun the process towards healing.  Along with chemo treatments and lots of prayer, Mary Anne will be integrating nutrition, exercise, supplements, and organic eating into her healing process.

We are using this website to keep family and friends updated as well as providing opportunities to help their family. In the "WAYS TO HELP" tab, you will find a planner with her schedule of treatments, meal train and other opportunities to support the family.   Please remember to set your time zone to Eastern when signing up in the planner. We appreciate your prayers, support and words of encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Good morning happy Tuesday!!
Today is my first radiation treatment! 😃
I will have 25 rounds. I will go everyday, Monday through Friday for the next 5 weeks. The appointment itself is only about 15-20min. My drive is longer and I very much enjoy the me time to pray, listen to trainings, call people, and use voice messaging to do a little work. It’s an hour and half of built in me time!!

The doctor said that fatigue shouldn’t be felt until after two weeks. The best thing is to keep my routine the same.

Thank you for your prayers! I believe we will have a meal train set up shortly. And we do have sitters lined up. But I am sure we will need a list of back ups just in case life happens :)

We love you all. Thank you for being the strength beneath our wings!
