Wes, Elizabeth, and Tina, this is probably the best news I’ve heard in some time! I thank you so much for keeping us updated. I don’t know you all that well, but I do know what family support means to us when disabled or very ill. I’ve been there myself and I’ve also worked with many patients without that support. Blessed you all are and I believe, Wes, that you are a miracle. Tina and Elizabeth, I also know how challenging it is to be caregivers and advocates. It takes strong and assertive people, a lot of patience and perseverance, so I’m so happy Wes had you both there for him - and anyone else that was!
Wes, remember there will likely still be good days and not so good days. Stay positive and grateful if you can. I also found it helpful to be just accepting of that and not beating myself up over it. It’s normal. Rest when needed and play when you can! When down, or frustrated I found laughter to be healing. Or reaching out to someone else that’s in need. You can always text or call me if you need an ear. I can willingly just listen. Sometimes that’s all we need without any kind of judgement!
With continued healing thoughts to all,
Diana

Elizabeth and Wes, this has truly been a season in life and a true test of strength and perseverance. You both are very blessed to have each other. Be strong and know we continue to pray for health, recovery and New Life . Keep heading forward to that finish line of health and happiness. It might seem far, but hold tight.
Blessings and prayers from the east to the west,
Brenda
