I will pray for him to feel the love being sent his way from people all over the country. The entire Berg family adores him, and this Berg girl will never forget the amazing eulogy he gave my mother ❤️.

The Bergs just learned this news about Neil from Tom Lamey. I’m so sad and will be praying that somehow he will recover.

We are very sad to hear this news. Neil is a dynamo and we were optimistic about his recovery. He has always taken such pride in his family, and rightly so. We wish you strength and God's grace as you usher him onward.

I’m so sad for your heartache and all you guys have endured. We all loved Neil and were so thankful that he and Carolyn had found each other. I know he will be missed but there will be no more pain in heaven as he joins his wife and the mother of his children.

As I sit here crying over your posts, I am also praying for your family. I wish I lived closer. Please tell Neil he always made me feel like family since the first day I went to take care of Mary. My only thought right now is that he will soon be with Mary..his soul mate. An amazing couple full of love for each other who I wish I had met earlier in life. A couple who made everyone they met feel like family.

I also would request Carolyn's address and phone number (private message) . Neil and I liked taking bike rides while the kitchen floor dried. He told me he was going to ask Carolyn to marry him. I told him he was a lucky man to find 2 special women in one life time to love. ( Although I said, " Not sure how YOU did it.) We were always kidding each other back and forth. (Yes, he said, " And YOU are lucky you found Marc. I don't know of anyone else who could put up with YOU."

I am sure that anyone who ever met Neil could go on and on about the laughs they shared. Love you, Neil!
