Lance passed this morning. While we grieve for his loss, we are comforted with our faith that God's plan for his time on earth was complete, and he now walks pain free with our Lord. While we are separated from others during this time, I realize how love is big and spans space providing comfort. Your words and prayers are such comfort.
A funeral or memorial will take place at a later time, and we can post updates when our family knows more. For now, we ask you to join us in prayers of thanksgiving for our time with Lance, and prayers of strength as we grieve his loss. Rhonda is still in Atlanta and not home for visitors at this time.
Rhonda has asked that in lieu of flowers in Lance's memories, that donations be made to the Valenti School of Communication. Information I received from the director below:

On that page, people can select "other" and write in the box in memory of Lance Locher (they can also select the scholarship fund and type in his name if they want money to go directly to scholarships, which could be a nice way to remember him). That way, when they give a donation, we can track it and let the family know.
