Journal entry by Cora Trujillo

So Frank and his friend Jim promised to spread the ashes of a friend on Mt Dickerman (4,000' elevation gain, 8 miles) but before he attempted that I thought we should do a "warm-up" hike up Beckler Peak (only 2,000' elevation, 7.5 mi.).  Well he did it!  Not bad for UW's oldest liver transplant recipient.  Honestly, he was pretty beat at the end but he made it and feels fine now.
