Thank you for sharing the details. And thank you for the special call. We also know what was happening in heaven at that time. Some months before I had heard that Dianne had asked what would happen when she died. As I was praying one night, I had a glimpse of nymph-like beings running across a meadow in heaven calling excitedly to each other, "She's coming, She's coming!" I could not see where they were running to, but I knew they were calling about Dianne and there was great joy in heaven over her arrival. Months after she was welcomed home, I picked up a favorite book--an Advent book with illustrations by a very faithful and brave Bulgarian artist. I gasped when I focused on the cover illustration--those same angelic beings were running towards the Christ child in the manger. That was a message from God, a glimpse of heaven.
Just as we know, God has to always remind us that he is there, even in the smallest things. Having been through just a little of what you have with your mom, I continue to be surprised at myself when I realize how God has placed people in my life to help and be my angels. We will always miss our "earthly" parents, but we have been so blessed to have them for the time we did...and with the knowledge that we will see them again. Sending big hugs and reminding you that your mom and dad are so proud of the adults that you, Michelle and Paul have become. You continue to bring happiness to so many!!
