I am so sorry to hear of Ty's passing. I have known him since 1967. I grew up on the street across from him, and heard him in the garage playing with his band many times. I loved his parents. I reconnected with him 4 years ago when we were looking for a kitty. We got our beautiful Stella from him, a pastel calico. He was so cool to bring us some of his wonderful French onion soup. What a guy. He just beamed when he talked of his three daughters, of whom he was so proud. I will always remember him for his big heart and his gentle way.

Carry on my wayward son
For there'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

I think of Tyler every time I hear this. He loved to play it.
Condolences to Colleen and all the kids. And thank you, Melissa and Corey, for keeping us up to date.

I am so sorry for for but your loss. My dad and Tyler played together for years before my dad died in 2000. He and my dad were good friends and it breaks my heart to hear this news. You girls and Colleen are in my thoughts and prayers. Please pass on my condolences to Colleen.

My heart aches for you three girls. Try the best to cherish the great times you had with your dad. Remember your Michigan family is always here for you in the time of need. We love you all to the moon and back.

Your family sounds wonderful. I am heart broken that you needed to lose Tyler's earthly presence while he was still so young . As a musician myself, I've treasured all you have shared about his life. I wrote down a quote once, "Music is our shared salvation." I wish I had stayed in better touch with WDM classmates. I know you'll take good care of each other. The recordings will be a wonderful legacy. Much love and support to you. Thank you for allowing us this time with you.
