I just watched a documentary called The Weight of the Crown on You Tube. It tells the story of a police officer that was shot in the head in Waseca, MN. I couldn't help think of you all. Surely you have gone through some of the same obstacles. I don't know if it would be too hard to watch, being too close to home, but maybe someone could scout it out and see if it might be inspiring to you, Tyler, and to your family. I'm still praying for you all. God bless each of you.

Thanks for your honest and encouraging update. I give thanks for Tyler's perseverance (and for the entire family's dedication to each other). I am printing parts of this letter for my prayer journal, so that I can pray into the real needs. Thank you for sharing. I pray for miracles for all of you, for an awareness of the Lord's abiding presence, for the Lord's glory, and that none of your heartache, exhausting, hard work... will be "wasted" in relation to having eternal value and fruit.

Nothing is impossible with God on your side:) I'm going to check into adaptive ski options and will let you know what I learn.
