Hello Team Ty,

Last night was a special night! I would even go as far as to say it was fun, at least as fun as a night focused on children’s cancer can be.

A bit of back story, Sam Day passed away from Ewing’s Sarcoma in 2016 after a 6 year battle following his diagnosis at age 9. His mom Lorna, while he was still alive, worked to raise money for research to save her son. Years later she is still working to save kids like Ty, and many others we met last night. Research and funding usually go to the more common types of cancer, which mostly affect adults, but Ewing’s sarcoma is incredibly rare and most common in children.

Ty did an amazing job. He even got a  well-deserved standing ovation!
