Tamara’s Story

Site created on December 3, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Last month Tamara was brought into the Emergency Room at Methodist  with a painful infection on her leg.  Her team assessed her and suspected a  dangerous infection. She had emergency surgery and was found to be infected with a necrotizing fasciitis, a serious bacterial infection that destroys tissue under the skin.  She was then transferred to Regions Hospital.  That first weekend was traumatizing and stressful to her body and heart.  There were many cardiac complications, but with the support and prayers of family, friends and loved ones, Tamara rebounded and is now on a journey of multiple surgeries and recovery.  Thank you for visiting our site and for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.
