Journal entry by Susan & David Kodesh

Hello friends!
The journey continues, but all is well. I did end up having to have a liver biopsy, but the outcome was great! It was non metastatic and they will just monitor with scans every three months or so

I will be having infusions of Herceptin every three weeks beginning Monday the 14rh until….??  This blocks the HER-2 protein. I will also continue to take Letrozole which blocks the Estrogen hormone.
I had this same infusion two years ago and tolerated it well. It’s a bit kinder to the body. It can cause some damage to the heart, so I had an echocardiogram today to give them a base marker and will have one of these as well about every three months . I also had a port put in today for the infusions. That procedure went well.

I am so very blessed and thankful that this has been so positive and God performed a miracle once again for me.

I am also so so thankful for the friends and family God blessed me with. And humbled by all of the support, love and prayers you have given and continue to give.  It fills my heart with joy every day.

I can’t do without giving a huge shoutout to my biggest supporter and #1 caregiver, my fantastic husband David. He’s been right there with me through it all, unwavering in his love and prayers for me. ❤️

I love you all!  May Gos bless each of you abundantly. 🙏🏻🥰🤗
