I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer on January 14th 2019. As many of you know this was very unexpected. Since finding out i have had surgery to remove a large section of the colon where cancer was found. During the process they removed 27 lymph nodes and found cancer in 5. Because the cancer was In 5 she is having to start chemotherapy. I will be doing chemotherapy every other week for the next 6 months in hopes to get rid of the cancer. Today I underwent another surgical procedure to have a port put in, this will make it easier to receive the chemo treatments. I start her my round of chemotherapy tomorrow. 
During this time i need all the love and support i can get to have the strength to persevere and get through this tough time! I know I have so many people that love and care for me and that’s been truly beautiful to see!
