In mid-November, 2019 Trish was diagnosed with stage IV gastrointestinal cancer. We are using the site to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

I just wanted to let you know that we're all doing okay over here. It's not easy and I know we all miss Trish very much. The quote that keeps coming back to me and rings true is this:

Sometimes it makes me sad though Andy Trish being gone. I have to remind myself that some birds aren’t meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more gray and empty that they’re gone. I guess I just miss my friend.

The first part isn't a perfect fit, the last part is; I miss my best friend so much.
