Tripp's journey continues. After 3 weeks with his "new robot foot" he has made huge progress. He is starting to walk a bit on his own. He is wobbly and our biggest hurdle to climb is his balance. His therapists are working so hard with him and we feel so blessed to have them with us on this journey. Tripp still goes to "the gym" 5 days a week and is working so hard!

In Physical Therapy Tripp is continuing to improve his balance and learn how to walk unassisted. His leg strength looks good and his confidence is building.  Check out the video to see him ❤️ We will check back in with our Ortho team this week to talk about next steps with our right foot and our left leg.

In Occupational Therapy Tripp is continuing to work on “lefty” he has started to gain HUGE momentum the last few weeks and it is amazing to watch him start using that hand again.  His therapists are super excited to see his progress with his pointer finger and overall function.

Speech is going well too and they are very impressed with his continued growth in vocabulary and intellectual progress.

He also is starting to enjoy group sessions & “school” sessions more and wanting to get more social again! His “hambone” orneriness is coming back! 😉

We have a lot of follow up appointments over the next month. We will be pushing to get his G-Tube removed soon and getting some evaluations completed.

We still ride an emotional rollercoaster as does Bubba & Sissy but slowly we are starting to get to experience some family fun times again. And he gets to have his first haircut within the week!

Thank you all for loving on our boy and our  family! Much love!
