Trinity’s Story

Site created on February 25, 2019

On February 19th 2019, Trinity was transported by ambulance to Children’s Hospital in Denver after having been diagnosed with Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). She is also battling a number of life threatening complications. ** Trinity is a passionate 18 year old with a Registered Paint Horse named Kicks. With a fiery spirit to match her red hair, Trinity is a true fighter and a survivor. ** ; She has a supportive family of dad and mom and four brothers. She is a senior Honors Student at Liberty Commons Charter High School. Besides working 20 hours a week she is working on her private pilots license and has decided to take a full year after graduating from high school to complete her commercial license and get the hours needed to fly professionally. It looks as though she will have a delay in accomplishing her dream. ** We appreciate you taking an interest in Trinity’s healing along her long road to recovery. Todd and Becky are grateful for prayers and encouraging words, especially God’s living truth. If you would like to help with Trinity’s medical expenses, please visit her GoFundME site here: https://www.gofundme.com/6xkawkg    **Please revisit Trinity’s Caring Bridge Site for a more in depth look at Trinity, as well as updates on her condition. Trinity is at the Children’s Hospital, 13123 East 16th Avenue, Aurora, CO 80045. She cannot receive latex balloons or flowers because she is in ICU.

Journal entry by Becky Scarpella

Trin’s horse, Kicks, who has been her best friend and faithful companion and saw her through her cancer treatment and recovery and has always been a very important part of her life is very sick with colic and has been at the CSU vet hospital since Wednesday.  This is obviously devastating for her and if you wouldn’t mind, please pray he will recover and quickly so that he can come home.

Thank you,
Becky
