Have you had his doctors appeal the insurance coverage? I am receiving a medication that is not on the list of approved diagnosis for the use of the medication which is an infusion for my lung condition. The nurse coordinator at the UofM had to appeal the decision twice I believe and then I get a letter saying it’s covered. My sister in law who’s a nurse and brother who’s a doctor said seldom do people appeal the insurance’s stance on something so then they “get by” with not approving it. It’s worth a shot!!
