Continuing to hold Trevor and all of his family in our thoughts and prayers! Praying for a complete healing. Having just experienced what sounds like a very similar brain injury in our family, I can say what you are going through right now is the most difficult part. Our nephew spent a couple of weeks very similar to what you are describing with Trevor. And then - one day he started making eye contact, making facial expressions at conversations in his room - and then every day was improvements! He is now home and almost back to his normal self. (He even passed his driver's test last week and is able to drive again.) Do not be discouraged!!!!
Our thoughts and prayers have been for #10 since we heard of Trevor's accident. It is so heartwarming to see the many schools that have done fundraisers and all the #10 Trevor stickers I have seen. I hope as parents you are doing as well as you can be. Prayers for you both too. Keep the faith.
Hang in there and take it one day at a time! I'm a friend of Ally Johnsons and we're praying for you at our house. I've been affected by traumatic brain injury with my husband and my nephew. It's a long, slow recovery but Trevor is young and has lots prayers and awesome doctors to help him. Keep a journal of each improvement you see and how his days go. He may not seem to be progressing much, but if you look back at your journaling you'll be amazed at the progress he's making. God is good all the time! Hugs to all of you, you can do this!!
