Journal entry by Heather Stoltzfus

Hi everyone,
We have been out here for 6 weeks now. And 6 months altogether. I'm glad I didn't know back in October that we would be out here this long. God brought everything in steps so it wouldn't be too overwhelming. And I'm pretty thankful for that! We see-saw back and forth between loving it out here and longing to go home. The weather is beautiful here but we are really really ready to go home to our own house and get back to normal!
Trav had a PET scan yesterday morning and we got the results today. It looks like everything is half the size than it was at the last scan, although there's still a bit of metabolic activity at the rectum. Also the rectum wall is getting thicker which means it's healing! We are excited about this progress! And,  of coarse, thanks again everyone for your prayers! We are indebted to you.
