Hello Brian. Was trying to find out as many others any updates on funeral arrangements for Tracy. I understand it's very overwhelming for everyone. I am heartbroken and I know she is no longer suffering but will continue to pray for Maggie, Mark, and the Barksdale family.

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of beautiful Tracy . I met her in 1984 at mercy medical center in Dallas . She was my preceptor and my role model . Her smile was the most genuine warm smile . She had the ability to make everyone feel loved and helped this small town Iowa girl feel welcomed . I will always hold her close in my heart . God bless all of you who loved her especially her family and beautiful daughter . May God bring you comfort . She truly touched so many peoples lives . Thanks for keeping us updated .

My heart breaks for your loss. May God give all of you abundant strength and blessings during this time. Rest assured that she is in Heaven rejoicing with Jesus. Tracy was such a great friend and source of inspiration to me through the years. I first met Tracy back in 1994 on my first day working in ICU Red at Piedmont Hospital. I was just hired as the first nursing assistant in ICU Red, about six months before graduating from nursing school. Tracy filled me in on everything to know about ICU Red my first day on the job while we set up room 1 for one of the first admissions from the OR. I was a bit overwhelmed inside by everything she told me, wondering how on earth I was going to remember everything. Everything worked out fine, thanks to Tracy's support. My days working with Tracy were always brighter thanks to her contagious smile and great outlook on life. Her smile was most contagious. I'll always remember the day she first brought beautiful baby Maggie by work. She was such a sweet, loving mother and so proud of her baby girl. I can only imagine the love she gave Maggie and Mark through the years, even when she was far from herself. I am so thankful that I got to see her last summer at a mutual friend's retirement party. Looking forward to seeing her again in Heaven, my sweet friend! Thank you Brian for all the updates through the years. You have been such a great brother to Tracy. Sincerely, Wes

Many of us here in Talladega, Alabama, Tracy's hometown, are so saddened to hear of Tracy's passing. We have been praying for Tracy for many years, and we know this is God's will and that Tracy is now home, pain free and happy. God bless the family. May you have peace.
