Journal entry by Tracy Hall —
Brad has been fighting like heck! He got himself released from the hospital on Sunday after being admitted for 10 days. Last Saturday, Brad coaxed the medical team to get him off of the drip and the clear liquid diet. He talked the docs into a Sunday release!
From the surgeries, Brad has a scar from his belly button to his spine. The incision site is extensive and will take time to heal. He has not been eating a lot and has subsequently lost weight. Despite being weak and tired he does get out of bed at least for a while each day. Brad sleeps a lot and is on extensive doses of various medications. The actual cancer treatment has been postponed a week to allow for more surgery healing.
Brad still wants to attempt a Spring Break. Time and healing will determine if that can happen.
The twins, Lilly and Jack, turn 16 on one week from Saturday. There is a lot going on with the Hall Family!
Thank you to everyone for the prayers, support, meals, texts, encouragement and love!
