Dear Beth, what a fast bit of planning you've done to memorialize Tony. I would like to help you out by taking charge of the potluck at the Scout House, so you can spend time with people. I've done large functions there, and also have large coffee pots and electric kettles for tea. Much love from me.

Sending deep condolences to all who loved Tony, and great appreciations for being one of those hippy folk dancers who were so ably introduced to contras through Tony's gifts. Natick High was my hometown school, and I went to every NEFFA from 1967 -70, returning home from college every spring to attend NEFFA until it was no longer in Natick. His clear lyric calling and great dance choices created such a solid dance community that has been a foundation for so much joy. Although the Scout House has such meaning (and perhaps part of the memorial gathering could certainly be held there), I truly think it will not hold all the overflowing hearts (and dancing feet) who will want to come and pay their grateful respects -- is there any way to move the dance to a larger hall so that none are turned away? I am certain we can all happily fund it if one can be found....

That was quick planning! I'm so sorry I'll miss the memorial celebrations as I'll be away Memorial Day weekend. I'm so glad I was able to attend Tony's tribute at NEFFA though. All the best!
