Dear Beth. Saying goodbye is so difficult, and you gave Tony the gift of your love, support, strength, and community. My heart goes out to you, and you and Tony are in my thoughts and prayers.

Beth, I am so sorry. Tony's remarkable presence in the music and dance community -- as a caller, a pianist, singer, and warm friend -- was so broad and so deep. I'd like to think that some of his energy has rubbed off on all of us and that we will share his spirit going forward. We are thinking of you and sending our love. Becky Miller and Tom Randall.

Tony leaves a wonderful legacy. I'm so happy I could enjoy his dances and working with him in the Sudbury Savoyards. Gone but never forgotten. Thank you for those life-giving times, Tony!

Sending love and support to Beth and to all who knew and loved Tony. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to interact with him, even though it was briefly.

Beth, the finality of this news (even though we knew it was coming) hurts so much. Tony was a humble giant in our midst, a beautiful, clearly-enunciated, musical singer, a quick-witted caller with deep knowledge of our community's history, and a lover of our community. And he gave enormously to all the communities he touched. I'm so sorry he had such a challenging end to his life, for both of you. Sending much love, as you grieve. And we will grieve with you.

Dear Beth, my deepest condolences. Tony was one of the giants in the contra and square dance world, and I was so privileged to get to know him a bit over the 40 years I knew him.
I was so thrilled every time I was able to dance to his calling whether at the Scout House, NEFFA, or in the Albany area where he came occasionally to grace us with his skills and wonderful repertoire of a great variety of dances. I also cherish the last time I got to spend time with him at 2022 Pourparler, and it was so much fun letting people know that he was a Jeopardy contestant decades ago! I will always carry his beautiful spirit with me.

Beth - our hearts all go out to you. What a joyful presence he was, and how very many people loved him. But we know that you had a unique relationship with him, and your heart is the most broken. May God bless you, Beth, and may you find solace in the memories made during your long and loving marriage. <3
