Dear Kinman Family, You are in our thoughts, prayers, and hearts, many blessings always! Dear Tony, Thank you for everything! Your music has given so many people energy and hope! I had the pleasure of meeting you a couple times. The first time was when you were playing with a band, and when you did your song heads turned! You really set an example of how it's done! My guy Emil, said that's Tony Kinman!!! We really wanted to see more of you , but you were just standing in for a couple of songs. It made our night pure magic!! The second time was at the Redwood when you did a song with Ford Madox Ford, that was an extremely special night and you made it unforgettable! We love you and your family! Thank you again!! Everything is going to be ok. Breath and Believe!!! xoxo
Hi Tony, just wanted to let you know that for a couple years now, I've been going to a predominately African American church down in the "hood" near LAX and I also wanted to let you know that they prayed for you last night and will continue to pray for you! Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don't rely on your own understanding! Proverbs 3:5
Tony, thank you for defying genres and reinventing old ones with your brother and colleagues. Meeting you, Chip, Jim, and Alejandro at the bunkhouse on Lafayette enriched my life and expanded my mind. I've enjoyed your music at every stage of your career. All good wishes, Johnny Rat X.
I would like to express my deepest condolences. I was fortunate to know tony and chip as young men. Had the great pleasure to watch them grow up, as men and musicians. Sorry I wasn't closer all these years later. I think of the Kinmans frequently.
