Tom seemed to be having a very good day today! He and his roommate, also Tom (wife is Shirley, she's there often) have switched sides of the room and our Tom is much better situated! When I arrived around 10am he was looking at his photos in a book of his 2016 Facebook photos. Made me think: when you visit bring picture books, photos, etc. He seemed to really enjoy going through the book with me and telling me about all the photos. We had a REAL conversation...and Shirley (roommate's wife) noted she thinks he is improving. I believe Tom asked me what happened, why he was there. I told him he had a massive stroke about 5-6 weeks ago and was taken quickly to St. David's by friends. I told him it was NOT his fault; he seemed very relieved. He seems to be contemplating beauty - places where he's been, and places he wants to travel. I love spending time with him. xoxo
