How to say that the day doesn’t work for us sounds as bad as it feels. We are sad we can’t make the date work. Please know our hearts and thoughts are with Tom and all of you. We are deeply saddened and sorry for the loss we are all feeling.

*My husband, James Eales, and Tom taught next to each other at Vintage High School. We put together a letter to send the staff, including this site link and the information about his service. There are many of us in the school community whose hearts are heavy with sadness, missing Tom, and sending deepest condolences.

Connie,
I am crushed. I was so afraid this would be the case. I am taking my first vacation in 14 years and I will be out of the country. I return on October 6th. I am so sorry I won’t be able to attend. I will definitely be there in spirit. The one thing that makes me feel better is that Tom knew about this trip and was glad that I was doing something special to honor my 50th.
Love
Heather

Dear Connie, I will miss Tom so much. But not nearly as much as you and your Dad and Terri. I remember when i first met Tom and your family. He was just a little boy. I knew then he was special. And look at the person he became. I will never forget Tom. I will see him in heaven. God Bless you and your family . May he give you and your family strength and comfort at this difficult time. I love you all. ❤ Uncle Warren
