From our youthful days when Tom, as an older cousin still having time for and taking an interest in his younger counterpart, through the different phases of our adult lives I have always felt blessed to interact with Tom. He liked life, he liked people, and he loved Eileen and his family. I'm sure he had his moments, but I never saw him other than kind and compassionate, a gentle and caring voice throughout the good and tough times. I am grateful he has been in my life and my heart aches for Eileen and each of his children for the missing of his dear presence. He has been a gift to us all and I am sorry he is gone.
