Dear Pam,
I am so sad about Tommy! I wish I could come Saturday - but I am unable to drive long distances. I cherish my memories of you and Tommy and the boys. Living down the street from you was a special time in my life. I still make your "Greer Chillie" and love it.
May God reach His arms down and give you comfort and peace. Patricia Pafford Sammons (trishsam7@gmail.com)

I managed the State Farm office in Carrollton in 1989 -1990. Tommy was my go-to defense attorney. He always provided me with great legal advice and made me look good with his trial results, but more importantly, he became a friend!!

Even as the years passed and our paths rarely crossed , when we did speak, he was always gracious and welcoming. He was such a great litigator and orator. I often described him as having a soft silver tongue voice which I Ioved to listen to. He was a master in the courtroom. I am honored to have called him a friend and colleague and so sad to hear of his passing.

So, so sad! Tommy was such a great man who helped countless numbers of people by his actions and example. I feel so fortunate that he was my close friend during the West Georgia college years and served as a groomsman at our wedding 43 years ago. It was as if 43 years had not passed, but only a summer break, when Tommy and I had a long breakfast in Carrollton about 18 months ago when I attended a college reunion. His devotion to his family, his church and the people he guided through legal issues was so apparent and deeply genuine. May wonderful memories help comfort Pam and all the Greer family through this tough period. Rest in peace, dear honored friend.

My heart has been broken .... like everyone else’s who knew Tommy. I can’t fathom Carrollton with out his sweet smile, warm hugs and encouraging words. He meant so much to so many. Praying that God will give you peace during this difficult time. Love you all.

I've known Tommy for many years. My first recollection was in my job with DFCS, many years ago. But even though it might be weeks, months or years, Tommy never failed in his congeniality. In fact, I ran across Tommy and a friend as I left from jury duty last Tuesday! So sweet a man with an angelic voice. You'll be missed my friend

While we did not know Tommy personally, my little girl attends school with and considers his twin granddaughters her best friends. Her heart is breaking for them. We are praying for you all and send our deepest condolences. If you need anything at all please let us know.

May Our Lord Jesus continue to comfort each and everyone of you. Chuck Connerly truly honored Tommy with a beautiful message on Sunday at Victory. We felt Tommy’s spirit and yours Pam. How Great Thou Are Never sounded more beautiful. We love you much and our thoughts are with you. God bless you all. Love,
