Journal entry by Brittany Culver

Hi everyone,

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who attended/watched Tiger's memorial this past Saturday. We were totally blown away by all of the stories and outpouring of love that were shared. There's no way around it, regardless of what Tiger might have said: he was loved, and he was loved well - by all of you. By all of us. Thank you for loving so hard on Tiger.

Second, we found out that the livestream didn't show the slideshow very well - and there were SO many great photos that we wanted to make sure you had them. You can view the slide show here (just click the blue text, it's a link!) : Tiger's Slideshow

Lastly, the beauty of sharing stories during the service was learning so much about Tiger. While they couldn't be there due to Covid, Tiger's aunt & uncle - his dad's brother & sister in law - called me after the funeral to clear up the origin of the name Tiger!!

Uncle Bill and Aunt Eva Jo had so many stories to share, but most notably was that the name Tiger came from his Dad, Tom Sr. being a fighter pilot. Fighter pilots under Chinnault in China painted Tigers on the B40s; so fighter pilots were often called Tiger's, so my grandpa had a baby Tiger when Tom II came around :)

Ok - lastly, lastly - if you did not attend the service in-person, but would like one of the programs or prayer cards that we had printed, please text/call or email me (253-882-8440, or culverbs@gmail.com) and I will get one mailed to you! In the program we noted that we would love to have a big get-together to celebrate Tiger once "this" is all over. So, please turn on notifications for this CaringBridge site so that you will get notified when it is planned - we will announce it here!

Big love and hugs to all of you -- and a BIG love and hug to Tiger who brought us all together,

Britt
