Tommy and Jamie, congratulations on this truly momentous celebration notwithstanding the experience of the past ten months! There’s so many highs and lows documented in your story. People can read many of them here thanks to our family’s “Florence Nightingale,” Courtney Keith McMahon. I also know there are a plethora of silent tears, worry and questioning that occurs within the members of our family that are harrowing and mostly private. You must remain strong, have faith in God and in doctors and other medical professionals and, for Jamie, remember to smile, laugh and remain cheerful, hopeful, and help all the while perform logistical miracles! I’m so proud of our families!
As Aunt Betty would say, “This is a blessed occasion, and Thanks be to God and all the Saints!”
