I just found out I am getting discharged today which is great news.  They are still trying to get blood pressure down but nothing is working welll. Thanks to Sharon we advocated to be released and have consult with specialist while we monitor bp
at home.  Nice to have wife who is Nurse practitioner and knows bp issues.  Everything she told me they ended up doing so it is a blessing to have such an incredible smart and loving wife.  I am also grateful for everyone here nurses docs pcna’s this really is a stellar hospital. I am glad to have a hospital like this in my backyard.  I have compassion for those who don’t have access to this kind of care.   

In another note the clinic is stopping all elective heart surgeries as
of today due to covid19. Remember all those who are being told this today. Many are from out of state etc the only
surgeries for 14 days will be emergencies. When I heard that this am I realized that if clinic response is like this they are also protecting enough workers for any upticks.  Let’s send lots of love out to others and please listen to health officials.  

I again am humbled by the outpouring of love and support by so many who read my journal articles.  Your love and support will always be kept close to my cow heart!  remember eat chicken!
