Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.


Things were great!  Working out almost every day, eating right, losing weight, feeling great!  Really getting into shape for the next chapter of my life.  Then, out of the blue, illness set in Thanksgiving week.  Profound shortness of breath, weakness and fatigue.  Could hardly move.  Clearly COVID-29 symptoms.  Everyone, including family, friends and medical professionals were convinced is was COVID, until it landed me in the ER, where a CT scan indicated it was not COVID.  The attending entered the ER room with a concerned look on her face.  "There is strong indications you have Lymphoma!  WHAT!?!?  Our world, once again, is turned upside down.


The outpouring of support, love and prayers has been overwhelming in the most positive way!  Thank you all so much.  It means everything to me.  With all the requests for updates on our progress, this CaringBridge site will serve to get our progress to cure out to so many with a singe post.  It is very helpful during what is a very busy time.

October 1, 2022 One Last Update

Journal entry by Tom Brown —

"A Clean Bill Of Health."  The best five words a guy can here!  Uttered by my BMT doc this week after all the tests and scans for my one-year anniversary were read.  It was a short meeting with nothing but positivity.  I'm feeling great with no signs of residual disease, no sign of rejection and 100% donor DNA.  I am truly Blessed.

Once again, THANK YOU to all of you for the love, support and prayers during my battle.  It made ALL the difference.  And thanks to those who supported Caring Bridge with your generosity.  Thank The Lord for receiving all your prayers on my behalf.

So now, I'm going to take the advice of doctor Juckett, and "Go Live Your Life"!
