Tom’s Story

Site created on October 29, 2017

Welcome.  Tom's current diagnosis is Pick's Disease and he is here to continue to live and love as each day unfolds with all of us, including YOU.  This website is designed to provide specific information to family and friends, answer questions, provide suggestions and create community all  in one place.  Go to the JOURNAL ENTRIES to follow along with updated information (this site puts the most recent post first, chronologically it is counterintuitive but you will get it).  Please share any comments and reflections.  Also put any questions in the comments section below each journal entry.  We will answer each question for everyone to see, as there are undoubtedly many similar questions.  "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.  It is about learning to dance in the rain."   We are filled with life and love.  Come join us!

Journal entry by Nathaniel Bazydlo

Happiness is here as Tom releases his physical body returning to infinite, blissful Spirit.

"You are surrounded by Love.  You are filled with Love.  You are Love.  We are Love.  All are One in Love - infinite, everlasting, pure, highest vibrational, Source energy, self-actualized, God-realized, blissful Love, Love, Love."

Tom breathed his last breath of life securely surrounded by his four boys and "the fifth brother" Sean.  Arm in arm gathered at his side silently holding the space for a dignified and peaceful passing late on Tuesday night, his last breath exhaled.  We were soon joined by family and friends united in an emotionally connecting and supportive prayer circle around his body.

The final days came quickly as Tom's body progressively began to fail starting Sunday night.  The blessings he showered upon us carried right up to the end. It was strangely special to be with him in the very same room he and Tina spent so much of their time as she approached her passing.  It is a gift to have the opportunity to share in these most precious moments of life.  It was just us, with beloved visitors, and Tom.  We gazed at his face, we stared intently at the rising and falling of his chest, we assisted and then carried his frail body to and from the wheelchair, we held his hand in silence as time melted away, we kissed his forehead and we told him the deepest sentiments in our heart.  He gave to us in the end with the greatest generosity that he has given to all his whole life.  We are infinitely blessed.

We are sincerely joyful for Tom and yet, we are just so sad.  He is free now. He returns to his full, expansive blissful state...

All are welcome to come visit us at the 1661 W. Onondaga St. house.
