Hello All!
It has been some time since our last update, but Tim has been consistently working hard at therapy. He has made large strides (pun intended) with his left leg and walking. Tim is able to walk longer and with less assistance. He has been able to walk freely for short distances with a hemi-walker. His left hand movement and strength is still very limited.
The journey to independence will be long but there is continued progress!
It has been a week by week decision on when he will get discharged. We have pushed for multiple extensions and currently appealing the latest discharge decision. He may come home as soon as this week but we hope to get more great care with the therapists at Summit. We will keep you all updated on following moves.
Finally, we wanted to thank you to all for your continued support. Thank you to those who have visited Tim, brought us dinners, and sent cards and messages of love.
